This Satsang covers the discourses on the Guru Charitra Chapters titled – 25 Pride of the Foolish Pandits, 26 Infinite Glory of the Vedas and Their True Purpose and 27 Humbling the Pride of the Pandits by Master KrsnaKnows.

Chapter 25: Pride of the Foolish Pandits*
This chapter describes how two boastful Brahmins who, so to say, were trading in the Vedas, were brought by Trivikrama Bharati before Guru Nath.

This chapter commences the karma Kanda section of Sri Guru Charitra.

Chapter 26: Infinite Glory of the Vedas and Their True Purpose
This chapter Sri Narasimha Saraswati explaining to the two vain-glorious pandits about the sanctity of Vedic lore and that Vedas are not meant for vada and polemics. Vedas are verily the mother; they are to be treated with reverence and veneration. They are meant to illumine our intellect and to help us discover our true self, and are not intended for bartering them for self-aggrandisement. They are not for jeevanopadhi but for Jeevana-Paramavadhi. They are meant for Bhakti and Mukti and not for Bhukti. They are meant for nurturing and enriching the spirit but not for filling and pampering one’s being.

Chapter 27: Humbling the Pride of the Pandits
This chapter describes how the two vain-glorious pandits were humbled, and had brought upon themselves a curse which turned them into Bramha Rakshasas.
